What are your operating hours?

Mangement is available from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday and 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturday. We’re closed on Sunday. Holiday hours may vary, so please call or check our website for specific information on those dates. Appointments are necessary to view units in person. Please call ahead to ensure the manager is in the office.

What are the access hours for tenants? How do I access the facility?

Access for current tenants is 24/7/365! Each tenant will be given a personal passcode to enter into the keypad. This feature helps us keep track of who comes in and out. You can also download the Storage Genie App to your iPhone or Android and the gate will automatically open for you without even rolling down your window or getting out of your vehicle.

Do I need to sign a long-term lease?

No. We understand that your storage needs may change from month to month which is why we offer the convenience of month-to-month lease agreements. Our leases renew automatically on the 1st day of each month and we require written notification by the 15th of the month you intend to terminate your lease agreement and vacate your unit. Tenants then have until the last day of the month to vacate their unit without being charged for the next month.

What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to lease a unit?

Please have a valid form of identification on hand such as a driver’s license or passport and a major debit or credit card as payment.

When can I move in or access my unit?

As soon as we have a signed lease agreement and payment for your first month’s rent including any applicable administrative fees and discounts or promotions, you are welcome to move into your unit!

When is rent due?

Rent is due the 1st day of each month, for all tenants. We will prorate your rent upon moving in and the next payment will be the 1st of the next month.

How do I make a payment each month?

We require all tenants to be set up for autopay at the time of leasing. Auto-payment runs on the 1st day of each month for all tenants. Payment options include debit cards, credit card, checking or savings accounts (ACH) on file. Please note: electronic payment methods do incur an additional service fee processed by our payment provider each month, starting at $0.50/transaction. Please contact the office with any questions about payment or payment options.

Is there a grace period? What happens if my rent is late?

No. Payment is always due on the 1st day of each month. Should payment decline on the 1st, we will contact tenants to update their payment method but it is the responsibility of the tenant to make payment on time. Refer to your lease agreement for more information regarding the delinquency process or contact the office for assistance.

Are there any extra fees?

We charge a one-time $25.00 admin fee at the time of leasing. We do not charge any deposits. We offer the convenience of an online tenant account to update your payment methods as needed and to see information about your rental history with us. Other fees that can be incurred during tenancy include late fees, mailing fees, auction fees, lock cut off fees, cleaning/disposal fees, etc

Do you offer a military discount? What about any specials or promotions?

Yes! We offer a 5% discount for active military with valid ID. Additional promotions, such as free rent or discounts on long-term leases, may be available. Check our website or contact the office for current offers.

Can I store a vehicle in my unit? Do you offer outside parking spaces?

Yes to both! We ask that tenants ensure something is set underneath the vehicle, such as an oil drip pan, to catch any possible leaks for interior storage units. Tenants are responsible for cleaning the storage unit upon vacating and if fluid drips or spills are left, additional cleaning fees will be charged. We offer outside, uncovered parking spaces for select vehicle types. Some restrictions apply including length, width and type. All vehicles must be in good, running condition, no junk vehicles, no boats and no tarped vehicles. Please contact the office for additional questions.

I lost the key to my lock. What can I do?

We understand that losing the key to your lock can be frustrating. For safety and security, tenants are not permitted to cut off their own locks. Please contact the office during normal business hours to schedule a lock cut by a manager. A lock-cut fee may apply, and tenants who remove their own locks without authorization will be charged accordingly.
